Found and identified! The Ju 87 D-4 W.Nr. 1113, SU + FH, of 1/StG3, shot down on October 3rd, 1943 in Kos island, Greece, by Giannis Liontis

Kos island in the Aegean Sea, Greece, has been a location of fierce fighting in 1943 and WW2 relics still surface to this day.

Giannis Liontis, from Kos island, has turned to www.ww2wrecks.com to identify a WW2 aircraft part, possibly belonging to a Luftwaffe aircraft.

We are looking into positively identifying it, with the assistance of aviation experts worldwide.

Any ideas as to the identity of this part and the aircraft type it belonged to?
