Greece celebrated the Independence Day on March 25, 2018, marking 197 years since the start of the revolution against the ottoman empire, which resulted in the creation of modern Greece.

Following the tradition, a parade was held in Athens, which featured some interesting flying machines, from the Hellenic Air Force’s fighters, to the Army’s and Navy’s helicopters, along with some other helicopters from the fire brigade and police.

See below a selection of these, shot by photographer Leonidas Sboukis and shared via www.ww2wrecks.com.
