A series of previously unpublished photographs from the nazi invasion of Greece, April-May 1941 has recently resurfaced, after decades hidden in drawers and is auctioned off mainly via ebay.
These photos, shot by German soldiers, depict different phases of the campaign, including the paratroopers operations in Corinth and in Crete, the return of the survivors to Germany and tombs of their fallen comrades.
