WW1, WW2, WW2 in Greece

By Pierre Kosmidis

The War Museum in Athens opened its doors on July 18, 1975.

Its purpose is the exhibition of weapons, military artifacts and the history of war, since ancient times.

The museum’s collection includes exhibits from Greece and other civilizations, such as China and Japan.

There is a very interesting collection of guns, war spoils or used by the Greek Army, ranging from the early 19th century, to World War 1 and World War 2, as well as some post war jets in the yard outside the War Museum and here is a selection of photos www.ww2wrecks.com shot recently.
